Applications and Nominations are Being Sought for the Nari Shakti Puraskar-2022

For the Nari Shakti Puraskar-2022, the Ministry of Women and Child Development of the Indian government is accepting applications and nominations. Only submissions made through the designated website, www.awards.gov.in, will be accepted for the Nari Shakti Puraskar, 2022.
All applications and nominations submitted up until October 31, 2022, shall be taken into consideration for the 2022 Nari Shakti Puraskar.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development will award recipients with the Nari Shakti Puraskar 2022 on March 8, 2023, International Women's Day, in appreciation of their contributions to the cause of women's empowerment, particularly those who are disadvantaged and neglected.
The Guidelines for Nari Shakti Puraskar are accessible on the Ministry of Women & Child Development website at https://wcd.nic.in/acts/guidelines-nari-shakti-puraskar-2022-onwards as well as the Applications/ Nominations portal at www.awards.gov.in for eligibility requirements and other information.
The Government of India's Ministry of Women and Child Development presents the Nari Shakti Puraskar annually to individuals or organisations that support the cause of women's empowerment. On March 8th, International Women's Day, the president of India bestows the highest civilian award on a woman at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The Stree Shakti Puraskar award was established in 1999; it was renamed and reorganised in 2015.
It is given out in two individual categories and six institutional categories, each with a cash prize of 100,000 and 200,000 rupees.
