According to a statement, Amazon and the government authorities will work together to help and empower lakhs of women entrepreneurs from the four states to register their businesses with Amazon India and gain access to a larger market.
The Amazon Saheli programme will provide thorough training and skill development workshops to its participants in order to enable women entrepreneurs grasp the complexities of online selling and develop the skills and competencies required to expand their businesses on Amazon.in.
Product listing, imaging and cataloguing, packaging and shipping, inventory and account management, and customer service are all covered in these training programmes.
Amazon.in developed a special WED marketplace with a selection of products made available by women-owned enterprises in honour of Women's Entrepreneurship Day.
