A 23-member India Senior Women's Team squad has been announced by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for two international friendly matches against Uzbekistan on 31 May 2024 and 4 June 2024, in Tashkent. The Blue Tigresses team is now in Hyderabad gearing up for the next games.
After two weeks of rigorous training sessions at Sreenidi Deccan FC's home field, Deccan Arena, the head coach Langam Chaoba Devi reduced the team from a list of 30 probables to the final 23 players, who will depart for the Uzbek capital on Wednesday. The Indian squad placed second in the Turkish Women's Cup earlier this year, behind Kosovo, in a quadrangular competition that also included Estonia and Hong Kong.
