Pocket Aces has promoted co-founder Aditi Shrivastava to the newly created position of chief executive officer, which is to be effective immediately.
The move comes shortly after Loco, the Pocket Aces-incubated game-streaming platform, was spun off into a separate company led by co-founders Ashwin Suresh and Anirudh Pandita. Prior to this, Shrivastava oversaw the company's revenue growth, the establishment of its influencer management division, and the expansion of Dice Media, a content studio.
Suresh and Pandita will remain Pocket Aces co-founders and shareholders, as well as members of the company's board of directors.
“We have built a strong foundation for Pocket Aces, and I am thrilled to grow it to one of the largest new-age media companies globally… We have clear visibility of our content strategy and revenue leading us to profitability, and some very exciting new initiatives launching later this year as well,” Shrivastava said.
Aditi, co-founded Pocket Aces, a new age digital entertainment firm that creates millennial-friendly content. FilterCopy, Dice Media, Gobble, and Loco are among the company's channels that reach 50 million people weekly.
Prior to founding Pocket Aces, Aditi founded the Intellecap Impact Investment Network, India's largest angel network, which invests in for-profit firms that have a good social impact. She gave advice to entrepreneurs on their business models and investment strategies.
Aditi worked at Goldman Sachs in New York for nearly 5 years, specialising in quantitative stock research, trading, and portfolio management.
Aditi earned a magna cum laude degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University. She is a TiE Mumbai Charter Member and a CFA (USA) charter holder. She is also the Curator of the World Economic Forum Global Shaper Mumbai Hub.
