Taliban escalates repression of Afghan women and girls despite continuously seeking recognition and foreign help, stated by Human Rights Watch. The associate women's rights director at Human Rights Watch tweeted, "The Taliban are reluctant for meaningful talks".
According to a report by Khaama Press, the Taliban does not want to engage with the international world, stated Barr on Wednesday. She thinks that engaging with the international world has only been mentioned during a meeting between Senior Qatari Official and Hebatullah Akhundzada.
This engagement of Afghanistan and the international community has already been asked earlier by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Group and spokesperson of the Taliban, Mullah Hassan Akhund to the Qatari Authorities.
Doha has complained about the gender inequalities and policies of the Taliban towards females despite having a strong relationship between Qatar and the Taliban. Since the Taliban has taken over the power and rights of Afghanistan, they have continuously implemented restrictions and dominated Afghan women. The right to education and employment has also been restricted for women. Since the School and institutions have denied the admission of females, thousands of them had to stay back at their homes. They are not even allowed to work in any type of organization, gym, or public place.
