ABRSM & ICSSR to organise All-Indian Woman Academic Conference at OU

An All-Indian woman academics' conference at Osmania University on 21 September 2024, will focus on India's global leadership innovations and technical breakthroughs. Organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) and the Indian Council of Social Science Research, the event will feature paper presentations on topics like women's role in building a 'Viksith Bharat', women in STEM: 'Breaking Barriers and Shaping the Future', and women's leadership in higher education. Around 1,000 delegates, including notable figures like Vijaya Bharathi Sayani and Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, are expected to attend.

The conference will facilitate discussions among women leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators on key events, policies, and initiatives influencing India's global leadership role while analyzing India's global economic and industrial shifts. Part of the organizing committee, S Raji Reddy mentioned, "About 1,000 delegates are expected to attend this conference."

The Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) is an Indian organization promoting the welfare and development of educators through conferences, workshops, and seminars, aiming to enhance education quality and promote educators' interests.

The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), established in 1969, is the national body for social science research in India. It supports 29 research institutes, provides grants, and supports data sharing among the community. The ICSSR Data Service and National Social Science Documentation Centre support academic collaboration and advance social science research.
