The project was created to help prepare participants to become entrepreneurs from all areas of Gujarat, and has given the participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to talk about ideation, business models, and financial literacy.
The workshops and trainings were held in Bharuch, Nadiad, Modasa, Surat, Navsari, Vadodara, Rajpipla, Anand and Bhavnagar since last month.
Seen as a one-stop-shop for the platform, WEP will provide funding, policy support, incubation, training, mentoring, and market access to women entrepreneurs. The program will be scaled up to all 33 districts of Gujarat with EDII spearheading subsequent programs.
As per EDII, WEP–Gujarat Chapter will touch thousands of additional women over the coming months, and produce a new generation of entrepreneurs who will drive business growth, community advancement, and state economic expansion.
