Gresik, East Java, Indonesia held the 4th AVC Women Challenger Cup from June 18 to June 25, 2023. The Indian Senior Women's Volleyball Team started the tournament by defeating a strong Australian team, which was also a title contender, by a score of 3:1 sets (13-25, 25-16, 25-22, & 25-13).
The team members and coaches were acknowledged and thanked for their outstanding performance and efforts by Professor Achyuta Samanta, President of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), Board of Administrative Member (CAVA), Honourable MP Kandhamal, and Founder of KIIT & KISS.
Additionally, he hoped that the team would do well and win a medal in the competition. The players and coaches for the Indian team thanked Professor Achyuta Samanta for conducting a coaching camp at the KIIT University Campus in Bhubaneswar and providing the team with all necessary assistance.
