What drew you towards the field of finance and especially wealth management?

By profession and educational qualification, I am a certified financial planner. My journey began with a BCom degree, initially aspiring to become a chartered accountant. However, I discovered a more enriching path, one that extends beyond mere tax management. It involves engaging with people and making them aware of how money can work for them, not just during work hours but even while they sleep. While information abounds in the market, personal financial journeys are unique, and generic solutions often fail. Recognizing this, I embarked on the path of financial products distribution and planning for an individual’s financial goals to offer tailored solutions, a rarity in India's evolving financial landscape, helping individuals make the most of their resources while respecting their distinctive circumstances.

Introduce us to FUNDFOX Wealth. What is the underlying idea behind the firm and its key areas of specialization?

FUNDFOX Wealth, though bearing a new name, encapsulates two decades of financial wisdom and dedication. Established by my father, Ashish Trivedi and driven by our family's principles, it initially carried the name Viral Wealth Managers, named after me. Over time, we evolved, recognizing the need for a more professional image, prompting the name change. What commenced as a modest venture has matured into a stalwart, boasting over 1500 clients and assets under management exceeding 250 crores. Our central mission is grounded in imparting genuine financial acumen, devoid of glitter or trends, embodying a mantra that transcends chasing fads. We foster financial independence, enabling everyone to emulate the financial strength they admire, while our expertise extends beyond numbers into the realm of emotion and relationship management. Our commitment has cultivated lasting multigenerational bonds with clients, a testament to our enduring presence in managing the financial legacies of families as they plan for generations to come. This is where we proudly stand today, shaping the financial destinies of families across time.

In your opinion what are some of the most critical challenges you encounter as a finance leader in today’s times? What steps do you undertake to overcome these roadblocks?

The prevalent challenge arises when individuals equate AI with human wisdom, potentially sidelining the profound importance of personal financial guidance. This misconception, while not a personal grievance, is concerning. Many are drawn into a world of financial apps and trends, following the crowd without considering their unique needs. It mirrors the influencer culture, prevalent across various domains. However, it's crucial to recognize that each individual's journey is profoundly distinct. Comparing oneself blindly to others is unwise; rather, seeking the expertise of a human advisor is imperative. These experts offer unbiased perspectives, assessing your financial landscape comprehensively.

In our information-rich, tech-driven world, personal comprehension faces challenges. Diverse advice abounds, yet individual circumstances vary. True solutions lie in personalized consultations, where unique situations receive comprehensive attention. Unlike AI, humans grasp emotions and life's unpredictability, making human expertise essential for holistic financial guidance, and respecting individual uniqueness.

Throw some light on the professional milestones you have achieved over the years. What makes these achievements important to you?

In comparison to my father's two-decade-long journey, I'm relatively new, having ventured into this field just eight years ago. Regarding specific milestones, I may not have grand ones, but I take pride in connecting with and assisting numerous women client effectively, including quite a lot of our old and existing clients, under the thorough mentoring of my father. They've expressed appreciation for my understanding and guidance, finding my solutions align perfectly with their goals and needs. Moreover, I've had the privilege of mentoring many young individuals, including college friends, becoming their trusted financial advisor. Some have entrusted me with their financial journey from its inception, spanning the last three to four years. Earning their trust and delivering the desired results is a significant achievement, reflecting the credibility I've built.
