How Did You Begin Your Journey In The Field Of Image Consultancy?

I was raised in a household where grooming, etiquettes, and manners were ingrained into me at a young age. After my twins left to pursue their higher education in U.S, I came across the dual degree course in Image Management between Indian School of Image Management (ISIM) and International Image Institute, Canada. Inspired and determined, I went on to complete my Image Consultancy training under Ms. Ferial Youakim based in U.S. Since then, I have completed more than 8 certifications and I still feel there is so much more to learn!

IT Must Have Been Challenging To Establish A Company From The Ground Up. How Did You Overcome These Roadblocks To Become A Force To Be Reckoned With In The Image Consulting Industry?

I looked at the industry as an opportunity for VChic to bring in new energy and creativity. Initially, it was difficult to convince clients to try our services but slowly we started to create a buzz in the industry with the help of our outstanding team. I would say that entering an industry with established companies should not discourage one. Instead, one should identify the pain points and work with a diverse team to creatively solve those problems. That is exactly what we did at VChic!

How Do You See VChic Grow In The Days To Come?

Our goal is to have a sustainable business practice that can serve generations. Currently, we are developing “VChic Image Institute” that would expand image consultancy services found in Tier 1 cities to Tier 2 cities as well. The services would be targeted towards the youth, the future of our country, and would prepare them to take the first steps in their professional life.

Passion. To be able to sustain the first few years of failure and even possible losses you need crystal clear ambitions for yourself in the field. Then, discipline. It will take rough waters to become a captain of the ship. Believe in your goals and you will overcome all obstacles.
