Suhasini Jaipuria, Founder, Elynn is a beauty and wellness enthusiast who is set forth on a mission to exhibit secrets from the world over. Raised in a business family, entrepreneurship was a given for Suhasini, though she took the plunge only after a five-year stint in the corporate world. Before her entrepreneurial journey, she has been associated with multiple well-known organizations in different industries, including Travel Oyster India, Forest Essentials, Libral Traders, and Farm Stay UK, to name a few.

But her childhood fascination & passion for beauty essentials paved the way and became her reason for establishing Elynn. She is a sedulous leader who never stops trying and believes in doing whatever is required to accomplish her goal. As a creative individual, Suhasini carries a unique way of drawing inspiration from different traditions, cultures, and rituals across the world into her products to provide her customers with a unique experience of skincare and wellness.

Walk Us Through Your Early Educational Journey And The Prior Industry Experience That You Bring To The Table.

I was always keen to pursue my career as an entrepreneur, but any successful enterprise also requires a strong marketing strategy. So, my undergraduate was in Business and Management from IILM (affiliated with the University of Bradford, UK), with a focus on marketing, & my professors were truly a guiding light who helped me build my confidence and shaped me into the woman that I am today. After that, I went to Warwick Business School, the UK, for my master's in Marketing & Strategy. Over the years, I have worked in industries like travel and tourism, skincare, medical, as well as on various NGO projects. But finally, I realized that my true interest lies in body care, skincare & beauty, and that is when I stepped into this industry.

Give Us A Brief Overview Of Elynn. Also, What Drives You As An Entrepreneur?

The name Elynn comes from old English and means “the most beautiful woman”. We resonated with this name because we believe that beauty lies in the heart of every individual. This beauty is not necessarily the outer appearance but mostly the inner magnificence of a person. The choices one makes, and the causes one supports contribute to their beauty and goodness.

Our products are handcrafted by artisans using natural, simple ingredients and as an organization, we work especially with women entrepreneurs and intend to grow together as a community. At Elynn, we are committed to helping all individuals maintain healthy skin as well as a healthy lifestyle, that not just focuses on the exterior appearance but also mental and emotional well-being. What drives me as an entrepreneur is my never-give-up attitude and ideology for progress over perfection.

What Are The Various Responsibilities You Shoulder As The Founder Of The Company? What Are Your Primary Focus Areas In Terms Of Leading Elynn?

Entrepreneurship comes with a lot of responsibilities and demands to multitask. Hence, as the founder, I shoulder the smooth & efficient functioning of every department within my organization. I look after the overall marketing, product development, and Elynn’s finances and accounting. My primary area of focus is always on quality and exhibiting aesthetically pleasing, exceptional quality products to our customers.

What Are Some Of The Most Significant Milestones That You Have Achieved Through Elynn? What Is Your Vision For Elynn’s Growth In The Future?

Milestones may have different meanings for different people. But for me, one of my greatest achievements is that I was able to keep my brand in a significant position, even while we were in the middle of the pandemic. We were recognized by some of the big brands in the market, like Aditya Birla Group’s Jaypore and the Jindal Group’s Amala Earth. In the coming years, I aspire to take Elynn to an international level and make it a successful global brand.

What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women Who Aspire To Become Entrepreneurs In The Future?

Listen to yourself, not the noise of the world. Only you know what is right for you. And try to focus on progress, not perfection. Be confident, create a strong network for your brand, and believe in your business. In today’s day and age, visibility is everything.
