However, it wasn’t until after I graduated that I truly understood the medical field. I completed my graduation from Sibar Dental Sciences, Guntur and soon after, I opened my own practice. It started as a small setup, where I worked on my own, learning firsthand the realities of clinical practice. That’s when I realized that what I had learned in college was just the basics, and I needed to upgrade my skills.

I began taking various courses in every area I could, honing my expertise. I eventually completed a Diploma in Dental Implantology from Sri Sri Dental College, Vikarabad. Additionally, I further specialized in advanced root canal treatment and dental prosthetics.

In 2017, I completed my dental implant course. At that time, dental implant wasn’t widely practiced in Karimnagar. In fact, I was the first to introduce it here. My husband, who is a maxillofacial surgeon, has been my biggest supporter. He encouraged me to pursue various courses so that I could enhance my skills in dentistry. Thanks to his motivation, I was able to apply my knowledge effectively, and I was the first to start practicing implants in Karimnagar. Now, I handle consultations for almost all the clinics in the area.

I received extensive training in various dental specialties, beginning with Dental Prosthetics under the guidance of Dr. Komal Majumdhar in Mumbai. I then honed my skills in Smile Designing with Veneers from Dr. Dipil Mehta, also in Mumbai. To further enhance my expertise in aesthetic dentistry, I completed advanced training in Composite Aesthetic Smile Designing with Dr. Usha Dadlani, again in Mumbai. My knowledge of orthodontic treatments, including braces, was shaped by Dr. Benoy Ambookan in Kerala. Additionally, I gained specialized skills in TMJ pain management through the mentorship of Dr. Surabhi and Dr. Akash Akinwar in Mumbai.

What inspired you to establish KK Dental Clinic?

What inspired me to establish KK Dental in Karimnagar was my passion for dentistry and the desire to make a positive impact on people’s oral health. I saw a real need for quality dental care in the community, and I felt it was an opportunity to provide high-quality services where they were lacking. Starting my own clinic not only gave me the freedom to control my practice but also allowed me to explore new techniques and technologies, contributing to advancements in dentistry. My ultimate goal has always been to improve the overall health and well-being of my patients.

Tele-dentistry will likely become more prevalent, expanding access to care in remote areas. Additionally, there will be a greater emphasis on preventive care and cosmetic procedures, driven by growing health consciousness and aesthetic demands.
