I hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in electronics and telecommunication. Throughout my career, I have driven multiple strategic initiatives, showcasing leadership skills and technical expertise in test automation. I have strong passion for driving product quality and have consistently gone beyond assigned tasks to improve code and streamline processes. As a woman in the software industry, I have overcome biases and stereotypes by automating tasks and staying updated with the latest technologies. I have been recognized with double promotions and appreciation from colleagues and leaders, leaving a void when I transition to new roles. I prioritize empowering individuals, fostering open communication, and providing mentorship. Overall, my approach revolves around having tough empathy towards people, building trust, mentoring them towards their career growth, and leaving a positive impact on the teams I work with.

I recently joined MODEL N, attracted by its reputation for work-life balance and thorough research on the company. MODEL N is focused on revenue management, providing software solutions for life sciences and high-tech companies to minimize revenue leakage, enhance operational visibility, and ensure compliance. What I appreciate most about MODEL N is its culture of openness and accessibility to leaders. They genuinely care about their employees' well-being, respecting personal boundaries and encouraging breaks for rejuvenation. The organization fosters a friendly and supportive environment where everyone is approachable and willing to help. Even though I have only been with MODEL N for a relatively short time, I already feel a strong sense of camaraderie and familiarity. As the Director for Product Quality, I am committed to upholding the highest standards as well as building scalable Quality Practices across all teams by implementing industry standards and best practices. We drive various quality initiatives across the org to deliver exceptional products and ensure customer satisfaction.

From your perspective, what are the key obstacles you face in your current position at MODEL N? How do you approach and overcome these hurdles?

Navigating life's challenges requires perseverance and a growth mindset. I prioritize continuous learning, staying updated with the latest trends in my field. Seeking feedback from leaders and peers helps me identify areas for improvement. As a woman in a leadership role, I tackle obstacles by presenting well-thought-out solutions and proving them with measurable outcomes. Balancing work and personal life, I establish routines and maintain open communication. Upholding my principles, I build genuine connections and foster camaraderie. Challenges provide growth opportunities, and I strive to become the best version of myself. Transparency and honesty are key in overcoming personal and professional challenges, focusing on substance rather than superficial appearances.

Describe the guiding principles that have led to your success.

It is important to let go of the desire for perfection and allow oneself the flexibility to allocate time for certain essential tasks. The unwavering support of my family, especially of my husband, has given me the needed confidence and passion to move ahead. Again, it is ok to ask for help or support when you might feel overwhelmed. Developing a mindset of self-belief and pushing through nerves can lead to personal growth and achievement. Understanding the audience and tailoring communication accordingly is crucial, as well as building strong relationships and clarifying goals. Continuous learning, confidence in presenting ideas, and executing outcome-driven strategies contribute to building stakeholder confidence. Trusting instincts and avoiding hasty decisions under pressure are advised, instead of taking time to gather data and think critically. Challenging personal biases and preferences, being patient, and learning from mistakes are valuable lessons to embrace.
