Tell Us About The Factors That Incited You To Choose This Niche Domain To Venture? As A Creator, What Are Your Roles And Responsibilities Towards Winning Edge.

During my nascent years as a corporate trainer, I worked with large Banks, Manufacturing setups and FMCGs in areas like managing performance, customer management, project management and realized soon that if one wants to ensure robust implementation, initiatives have to be dovetailed into the internal processes and systems to see the impact. On the other hand, my consulting assignments of setting up processes or HR / OD initiatives required tremendous focus on training of internal resources to drive success.

“Since ‘people and process’ are the key differentiators for an enterprise to grow, we focus on both.”

This realization of the need to synergize ‘training and consulting’ as a holistic offering, led to the genesis of WINNING EDGE Training and Consulting. Since ‘People and Process’ are the key differentiators for an enterprise to grow, we focus on both. In this, my clients are the ones that saw real value and sustained improvement on the ground.

The Society Today Is Witnessing The Evolution Of Women Entrepreneurship. What Is Your Perspective Towards It? Share Your Experience Of Being A Women Business Person.

Not looking at my own self from the gender lens was my own philosophy. The lens was purely that of an entrepreneur passionate about partnering with clients to make a difference. Subsequently the world starts to understand that they don’t have a choice but to look at your ability, the value you bring and impacts you create through your commitment. In today’s day and age, with women unleashing their potentials in varied sectors and fields, the tapestry is far more encouraging and inclusive. Following your passion without holding back as a woman, is the best mindset to harness.

Talk Us Through The Various Corporate Training Programs That You Offer And What Factors Does It Keep In Mind While Crafting The Finest And Up To Date Facilities?

At WINNING EDGE, we lay tremendous emphasis on updating and upgrading our content and offerings to stay ahead of the curve. Our clients take comfort in seeing us as a one stop shop for their needs, with our focus strongly on driving business impact. Our umbrella of offerings cover: Driving KAI-ZEN improvement projects, Leadership pipeline journeys, Certification programs like train the trainer and instructional design, Skill development Training & Learning Solutions, Offsite / Outbound Workshops, HR + OD Consulting, Quality management and project consulting, Psycho-metric assessments and Executive Coaching.

What Are The Innovative Training Methods That You Follow To Ensure The Best Learning Outcomes For The Corporate Professionals? Also, Do You Deploy Any Advanced Technologies To Support The Training Process?

We promote the 70:20:10 learning model with our clients which goes by the ratio of: 70:20:10: experience-exposure-educate, respectively. Our trainings are not just experiential and application oriented but we always explore avenues of implementation through projects and assignments and internal mentoring as well.

“This realization of the need to synergize ‘training and consulting’ as a holistic offering, led to the genesis of winning edge training and consulting”

Our biggest strength in our methodology is our robust and relentless follow-up, whether the client mandates it or not, we follow-up to ensure implementation, follow-up to ensure impact and follow-up to drive ROI for the client.

Even pre-covid we had migrated to the hybrid or phygital model of training and consulting. We have an e-learning partner who develops and customizes e-learning modules where scale and standardization is important.

How do you ensure to maintain the quality and authenticity of content during the training process?

I would say that we at WINNING EDGE do not believe in compromising on our deliverables at any cost. We regard our pre-work and diagnosis to be of utmost importance. It is imperative for us to have an in-depth knowledge of not only the company but the industry and study existing best practices. This is to a point where I have faced instances where participants have come up to me and my trainers asking us if we were ex-employees of the organization, “how come you are so plugged in?’ that is the WOW moment for us. We try to speak their language and nomenclature, understand their internal processes and understand their real time bottle necks and design relevant content accordingly.

When that becomes a guiding principle, I think the authenticity of content and quality comes from inside and is not a mere google search.

What Message Would You Like To Give For The Young Women Entrepreneurs Who Would Like To Start Their Career In Similar Industry?

The training and consulting space is more dynamic from 23 years ago. In this industry you have to work hard to prove your mettle, it takes time to build your brand. But once you get to be known as someone who can create impact and add value then sky is the limit. Therefore, once you have narrowed down on your niche offering then it’s all about believing in yourself, following your passion and positioning yourself confidently.
