ODLA is a technology agnostic digital transformation company that works with businesses of all sizes across industries that is from startups to MNCs and we have collaborated and transformed some of the world’s biggest brands in their fields across CPG, and FMCG, Fintech, Loyalty, Travel, and more. Our primary focus is to bring a global perspective to accelerate business growth by leveraging best-in-class technologies, industry practices, and our unique approach to problem-solving.
Right after completing my Master’s in Marketing from the International Management Institute, I started my Digital Marketing career with the Public is Groupe in India. During my tenure, I got the opportunity to watch my digital strategies successfully play out with giants such as Nestle and Hero Honda in the highly competitive Indian market. This boosted my confidence and ig nited the spark to take up challenges which helped me in exploring various roles across industries with brands like Isobar, MCN, The Entertainer, Careem, Danube, and Unilever.
Tell Us About The Roles & Responsibilities You Shoulder Including The Challenges You Face At Your Position At ODLA And How Do You Overcome Those Challenges?
My primary roles and responsibilities are to oversee all marketing and branding operations for ODLA and our clients. But, as we all know at a startup level, one has to wear multiple hats and take on multiple responsibilities while coming up with creative solutions to fix various business problems. Therefore, I need to take on responsibilities outside my role as well to ensure that both we as well as our clients grow consistently and rapidly.

Talking about challenges, Marketing in today’s world in itself is challenging because of its various components such as math, art, branding, sales, digital execution, project management, and more. Adding to this, the teams which are working from across the globe at different time zones are also a challenge. A good marketing leader needs to connect these dots, stay adaptable, and never lose sight of the business goals in order to overcome all the challenges they are facing.
What Has Been Your Most Remarkable Achievement So Far And What Is The Driving Force Behind Your Success As A Business Leader?
From the very onset, I have been passionate about marketing and that’s why I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in this particular field only. While many people around me attribute my career growth to luck but I know that it has been a result of my sheer grit and hard work throughout my career. I always wanted to leave an impact at every stop throughout my career and that’s exactly what I have done during my tenure to date. In my words and understanding, this is something I call a milestone that I have achieved in my career so far.
How Do You Foresee The Global Performance Marketing Landscape Evolving Going Forward & How Do You Keep Yourself Aligned With These Periodic Evolutions?
I think, to date, we have been using the traditional way of marketing and barely scratched the surface of digital and performance marketing evolution. As new channels emerge and technology evolves, performance metrics will keep changing and, in the end, it will always be about creating a synergistic consumer experience and keeping pace with the dynamic customer journey. I have always made sure I keep an open mind when it comes to trends and trying new things and one must keep sharpening their skillsets and never rely on chances to take them forward.
Drawing From Your Experience As A Successful Business Leader, What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women & Girls Who Also Aspire To Become Business Leaders And Entrepreneurs In The Future?
The advice I would like to give is that when things don’t go your way, which actually do not go, then don’t give up, instead embrace the reality, learn from it and make it work with all your hard work and determination. A diverse set of experiences, both failures, and success are invaluable to becoming a successful entrepreneur and a business leader.
