Tell Us About The Roles & Responsibilities That You Shoulder As The Director For Turnkey Properties. What Are Your Primary Focus Areas As The Director?
Being the director of TurnKey Properties means having various important responsibilities. As I am the only RERA certified partner for property management at TurnKey Properties, I oversee and lead a team of property management agents. Since many and most of our clients are oversea investors, it is a great responsibility to ensure that their investments are well taken care of. A vital aspect of this that I try to maintain is regularly keeping in touch with all my clients, providing them with time-to-time market updates and opening up their options by liquidating properties and presenting more investment options.
Apart from that, I am also in charge in the growth of my company, both in terms of name and capacity. Since we have reached an optimal amount of brokers, I have turned my attention to bring innovations to the company. In conclusion, my primary focus areas as Director are: maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, building brand image and spreading awareness of the company through marketing.
What Are Some Of The Most Pressing Business Challenges That You Face In The Role? How Do You Successfully Mitigate These Challenges?
The real estate segment is booming in Dubai, making it a very competitive market. We have to make sure to help our clients buy better properties in the market where the transactions are happening very fast. Sometimes, while we are talking with a client and showing them properties, the property goes off the market by the time the client decides to buy it. So, I have to make sure that, I'm able to convey a proper message to my clients, and I have that property in my hand.
Since these types of challenges are normal for us dealing with the real estate industry, I personally love these challenges, as they give me more chances to grow. Being in Dubai since 2001, I have a very strong network and I'm a part of a couple of different leadership teams as well. Therefore, I have access to excellent resources that clients otherwise wouldn't be able to do by themselves, and this helps us close the deals very quickly. So, challenges are there, but I think because of my experience, my network, my connections, and my resources, I have been able to help my clients pragmatically.
In Your Opinion What Are Some Of The Most Significant Milestones That You Have Achieved Throughout Your Professional Journey?
Starting my career as a real estate broker in 2013, I have been lucky to be bestowed with many awards and recognitions during my journey so far. After I became a partner in TurnKey Properties in 2018, my journey started as the only female partner in the firm and it was quite overwhelming for me.
"Apart from managing portfolios of my clients, i'm also in charge of the growth of the company to ensure that my company is growing well and its capacity is improving"
I bring a form of leadership that is compassionate and being able to handle stress in a different way I have been responsible for bringing many phenomenal solutions to my clients. Occupying one of the top-notch hierarchical positions within the organization, I think, I have a knack for challenges. I love them, accept them, and I make sure that I derive the best possible solutions to tackle them.
What Drives You As An Industry Leader & Successful Career Person?
My hunger for learning more and achieving more has been my driving force. For me, closing a deal is not always making money but is making my clients happy. When you talk about real estate, real estate is the only tangible investment a person can do. After helping someone buy their dream home, especially the lady of the house; you can envisage their family’s excitement to move on. I can see that shine of exhilaration in their eyes as well as the smile on their face, and I think this is very satisfying for me.
As a woman, this always keeps me motivated and encourages me to help more such enthusiast females to get a better property. I think that the honesty and trustworthiness that I share with my clients help me get a lot of references as a thriving industry leader.
