Elaborate More On Your Educational And Professional Journey

I was aiming to be a medical doctor from a very young age onwards. Looking back, I feel like I should have had looked at the different opportunities in the medical field that were available for me which might have helped me to make a better-informed career decision. And even though, I wanted to be a doctor, in the end, I took up engineering and passed out with distinction. At the same time, I was pursuing diploma courses from IIT Madras in electronics and communications field.

After graduation, I started my professional journey in the banking domain and to learn more about the banking vertical, I simultaneously did my MBA. Owing to the nature of my work, I had to visit multiple countries around Asia, Middle East and Europe in my corporate tenure which helped me not only to know more about the international market space but above and beyond my current life journey as well. Apart from that, I am a passionate learner who is always open to learn new things, and this allows me to learn and reinvent myself constantly.

Later in my journey, I realized that I am not doing something that I was meant to do, and at the same time, I saw concerns regarding both my mental and emotional health. Going through this experience made me realize the lack of importance many give to their mental health. The quest & the search of finding purpose in my life always gave me a thought that I am going to start something new than what I am working for.During this time, one of my best friends introduced me to Neuro-linguistic programming which made me interested in learning more about the study of human brain, psychology etc. I just took that space as an entry to change my career path.

"My passion to help others while leaving a positive impact on their lives and this is what motivates me"

After working in IT banking industry for a decade, I decided to quit my job and started my fresh coaching journey in 2014 offering personal coaching sessions helping people bring out their true inner potential. This was my foray into coaching. Also, when I was conceived with my 1st child, I wanted to learn more about parenting, and early childhood development. I also did my Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling course as well. Apart from being a certified International NLP & Emotional Intelligence Master and Trainer, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher from Yoga Alliance US, a Graphologist and have done a plethora of other certification courses keeping myself open in learning new skills always. This varied expertise is helping me to offer a wide range of solutions to my clients.

Can You Talk More About Your Expertise And Experience As A Coach?

Working on mindset reprogramming is my forte and aside from that, I also have ample expertise on health and wellness coaching. I also believe that women as well as young children are the most important cogs in a society. If the minds of the younger generation are set in the initial phase itself, it will equip them for the challenges that might come their way in the future. Also, if a women’s mindset change, then it can effect and help to run the entire family in an efficient way. So, these are some of the areas that I focus on during my coaching & training sessions and as a storyteller, writer, and a public speaker.

What Are Some Of The Challenges You Faced In Your Journey And How Did You Overcome Those Challenges?

I am someone who welcomes challenges and thrive in adverse conditions. Rather than seeing it as a challenge, I become curious about it and try to learn more about it. This mindset has helped me to strive for consistent improvement and become a better coach for my clients. I have created a support system/group where my clients can come and talk to me regarding their worries and concerns. This constant interaction has also helped me to learn and develop/expand my skillsets.

What Motivates You To Constantly Improve Yourself And What Advice Would You Give To The Younger Generation?

My passion to help others and have a positive impact on their lives is what motivates me. I also believe that I came to this world for a cause and this belief drives me to chase my dreams. This has also helped me to be a passionate learner who strives for consistent improvement.

What I learnt from my own experience is that it is not wrong to ask for support and it is good to share what you are dealing with to others or whom you are comfortable with. Also, don’t be afraid to explore your lives as it helps you to realize your true potential.
