Give us a brief overview of R Tech. How has it managed to emerge as a global business leader across the competitive Qatar market?
Working with the market leaders in the fields of Oil & Gas, Education and Healthcare, we try to bring global expertise into Qatar. Consistently offering the very best to the customers, both in terms of products and services, R Tech is adding value to its business partners/clients through its competitive prices, quality services, and ability to serve with customized and best in category solutions for long-lasting business relations and success. Our strength lies in our employees and the partners whom we represent along with the decades of experience collectively we hold. Although we started in the year 2019, we have amassed a global reputation with the Major Global and local customers operating out of Qatar. It is in our DNA to run the extra mile to identify the critical issues as well as the challenges of our customers and provide the most viable solutions with local support.
Why did you choose Qatar as the breeding ground for your business? How is the country assisting you in your business operations so far?
Qatar is a land of opportunities and the most thriving businesses in Qatar always address the three sectors - Oil & Gas, Education, and Healthcare, that we are currently representing. We thank our Emir HH Sheikh Tamim and his leadership for the simplified ways of conducting business in Qatar that have practically enabled any government process to be completed using your laptop within three to five steps. One of the most compelling reasons is to help assist Qatar in its journey of growth and progression is because Qatar deserves the best. Education and Healthcare are always given high priority and serving these two sectors is equivalent to serving the nation and its people directly. Of course, Oil & Gas is the key revenue generator. As a business, we greatly sustain with O&G business and these revenues help us support the noble goals of ensuring the best education and best Healthcare through our technologies and solutions in these fields.
As the Co-Founder & CEO of the firm, what are the various roles and responsibilities that you currently shoulder at R Tech? What are the most challenging aspects of your current role and how do you overcome them?
Starting from developing strategic objectives and direction to implementing proposed plans, I am responsible for budgeting and forecasting, tracking company performance, creating value for internal and external clients along with promoting a great working culture.
One of the most challenging aspects to be faced by me till now is about generating good revenues and one way to sustain is to provide the best solutions at the best cost and best services. Competition with age-old organizations gives very less room for progress but being an SME, our operating costs are currently lower. We are able to pass that benefits to the customer and thus able to create more opportunities as well as a greater number of customers along with consequent revenue streams.
Another challenging aspect for a woman in leadership is raising capital. Though we have seen great success so far in business, to step into the bigger projects with cash flow, we are yet to consider either working with own capital, with BFSI or private funding. It is a known devil and every growing business gets into this corner at least once. So, to overcome this, my advice will be to communicate and market your business effectively and be bold in asking.
“It is in our DNA to run the extra mile to identify the critical issues as well as the challenges of our customers and provide the most viable solutions with local support”
How has your professional journey been so far? What have been some of the most significant milestones or achievements that you have earned throughout the years?
We are proud to say that we are sailing smoothly. Where most the business has doomed during the last two years due to the Pandemic, we have raised the bar in every KPI. This is a good sign and though we are yet to receive the awards and recognitions, we are contented in ourselves and currently not worried about third-party reorganizations.
How do you keep yourself well aligned with the periodic evolutions occurring within the industry and the tech world in general?
There are many strong leaders in this country who are torchbearers. By being up to date with the market dynamics and networking with top-notch leaders in the tech and businesses domain, we have been able to get good guidance and remain aligned with the evolutions happening in the market.
As a successful business leader with vast industry experience, what advice would you present to young women and girls who aspire to become business leaders or entrepreneurs in the future?
Always dream and be bold to chase your dreams. Be passionate about life and serving the family, humanity, nation or the world to the best of your ability.
