What motivated you to foray into aesthetic dermatology? Tell us about the various surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures you specialize in.

Passion should always drive your career choice because only passion and hard work can provide long-term success. I chose dermatology for my postgraduate studies as it had untapped potential and a bright future. With this career, I could balance my personal and professional life best while also honoring the entrepreneur in me. Regarded as one of the top dermatologists in Hyderabad, I have over 11 years of experience beautifying people of various ethnicities. Our service portfolio includes a wide range of treatment options, including hair reduction, vampire facelifts, injectables, radiofrequency, hair growth treatments and skin boosters, and antiaging. Apart from this, I specialize in fillers for the face and body and botox for wrinkles. I also provide microneedling, laser treatment, PRP, various skin rejuvenation treatments, and skin surgery. In addition, my practice aims to help my patients gain confidence in their daily lives.

Throw light on the most critical challenges you encounter as an aesthetic dermatologist. What are your priorities while working with patients?

Despite its worldwide popularity, aesthetic medicine is still relatively new in India. As a clinical dermatologist who practices aesthetics, it is difficult to provide treatment with realistic goals because most dermatology patients have high expectations. As a Dermatologist, I have always made it a point not to provide treatment or administer medication solely for treatment. I, instead, focus on connecting all of the patient's problems, solving the puzzle, determining the root cause of the symptom, and providing a treatment that would resolve the issue. At Sasha, we understand that everyone's skin type is different. As a result, we intend to put all our experience and efforts into conveying the best viable treatment approach.

Going forward, how do you foresee the Indian aesthetic dermatology landscape evolving? Which industry trends will create the most significant impact?

Over time, the beauty industry has been revolutionizing by becoming more realistic, natural, and innovative. The dermatology industry always responds the earliest and quickly adopts the latest technology to serve its evergrowing client requirements with the best. In these past two years, many cosmetic and aesthetic treatments gained tremendous demand. Laser hair removal, dermal fillers, and cool sculpting are some. In addition, the advent of AI would soon make the LHR procedure dearer and cost-effective for clinical service providers and clients. Modern AI's fusion with other digital technologies, like smartphone cameras and apps, creates new possibilities for better educating people about their dermatological health.
