What Motivated You To Establish Quality In Core? Tell Us About The Underlying Idea Behind The Venture.

I Tried Different Areas, Before I Realized My Heart Lies In Working With People Directly And Making A Difference. Professionally, I Work With Us Fda Compliances. I Realized That India Was Way Behind In Quality, Validation And Compliances, Despite Being The Most Labour Efficient &Cost-Effective Industry For Manufacturing Due To The Lack Of Work Ethics, Knowledge, And How To Implement Compliances. Bridging This Huge Gap Between India & Rest Of The World, And Respectively Boosting The India Pharma Industry, I Incepted Qic.

Tell Us About Some Of The Challenges You Encountered As A Business Leader In The Pharma Consulting Business Landscape And How You Overcome Them.

Undoubtedly, There Are Numerous Challenges. Mainly, There’s A Cultural Issue, Which I Faced As Everyone Here Ends Up Having A Lack Of Trust And Lack Of Teamwork To Some Extent. I Connect With People In One-On-One Interaction, And Ensure To Make Them Comfortable First. I Help Clients Realize That We Are Here To Not Just Dictate But Solve Problems And Work Together Towards Practical Solutions.

Mention Some Of The Key Milestones You Have Achieved Throughout Your Professional Journey. What Has Been Your Mantra For Success As A Business Leader?

Sure! So There Are A Couple Of Things In That Aspect. First Was When Back In The Time At Hospira & Pfizer Being The Youngest, 23, In Corporate Quality & Validation, I Was Given The Opportunity To Lead 14 Different Sites Performing As The Direct Point Of Contact With The Vice Presidents From Different Areas. I Was Rather Humbled To Be Given These Responsibilities. I Was Also Recognized In The Top One Percent As An ‘Employee Of The Year’. Later. I Founded Qic In 2016. For Me To Work As A Consultant Even Employed With Pfizer & Hospira Was A Challenge, Amidst All Men Space. There Was A Lot Of Reluctance From Even The Site Quality Heads, But Eventually With Qic, The Trust Became So Much With All That One Of The Site Head Endedup Having Personal Meeting With Me And Offering Me A Job, Or Rather Training Her Daughter At Qic To Acquire The Same Level Of Industry Experience Like Me. My Mantra For Success: One Step At A Time And Win-Win Situation.

Going Forward How Do You See The Indian Pharmaceutical Landscape Changing And Evolving And You See Any Specific Industry Trends Developing In The Market Which You Think Will Have A Significant Impact?

Including The Global Pharma Landscape, The Indian Pharma Industry Has Been Evolving Since The Beginning Of Time. Though Covid-19 Was A Huge Disruptor, Even Then The Pharmaceutical Sector Picked Up The Minute The Vaccine Started Forming. Also, As The Indian Market Is The Cheapest, With The Most Hardworking And Brainy Population, Mncs Want To Open A Manufacturing Plant Here Or Have Already Opened With A Mindset Such That They Can Create More Profit Here. So, What I Foresee Is That Indian Market Will Always Be The Biggest And Is Set To Scale Magnanimously In Future.

What Is The Vision For The Future Ahead?

During Covid Times, We Had Reduced Our Travelling Although I Had Opened A Qic Sister Company In Us In 2020 And Was Handling Remote Work. Becoming A Parent, In 2020 And Again In 2022, I Realized A Huge Gap In The Parenting Culture And Had My Calling To Support Parents And Children. This Led To Me Diving In The Field Of Child Nutrition, Holistic Health And Parent Counselling. In 2022, I Founded- Hale & Hearty Kids, Focussed On Helping Parents To Raise Healthier Kids, Happier Homes. I Plan To Sail Further With Prominent Plans In Store For Qic And Hale & Hearty Kids, Working For People’s Betterment.

Any Advice For The Upcoming Leaders Or Entrepreneurs?
