Dr. Aditi Kaushal Bhardwaj
Founder, Dr. P.O.S.H

We can't deny the fact that women's role in society has shifted dramatically over the last few decades. With growth in education and opportunities, an increasing number of women are joining the workforce to build rewarding careers. Despite these remarkable achievements, women still encounter several work issues and professional hurdles at the workplace. Ranging from smaller challenges such as chilly temperatures maintained within office spaces to grave issues such assexual harassment, pay disparities, under-representation of women in the workforce, lack of family support, poor security, pregnancy discrimination, insufficient maternity leave, among others, women in the workforce still have to brave these odds.

Merely allowing women to work is not enough; they must also be provided with a better and more favourable working environment. Although there are various laws and procedures in place to ensure women's safety at work, however, owing to lack of awareness and proper implementation, very rarelydo theyeffectively protect women from harassment, gender bias, and gender inequality in the workplace.

Through her work across India, Dr. Aditi Kaushal Bhardwaj, a Special trainer under Sexual harassment of women at workplace Act 2013, met several women from various industries and understood the issues they faced at work. This drove her to come up with a solution. Thus Dr.Posh, a legal platform was founded with the goal of ensuring smooth operation and intelligent compliance for organisations Under Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, Redressal) Act 2013.
