Brought up in a public sector Township FACT (Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore) Udyoga mandal, Cochin. CinduV completed her ICSE from Udyogamandal School with distinction in 1984 and passed her Pre Degree with 96.4 percent from St. Pauls's College, Kalamassey, Ernakulam and qualified by merit for the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam and joined the prestigious College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

Cindu V passed out her Bachelor of Architecture with a gold medal and was awarded Alexander Memorial Award for the best Architecture student in 1992 by the Kerala University. In 1996, she settled in the United Kingdom, and had done several courses to benefit her employment in the country such as Diploma of Higher Education (Commercial Interiors) from De Montfort University, UK­ A Grade in 1999, Liverpool, UK ­ Distinction, and in 1997 she passed her SQA Higher National Unit module and SQA Higher National Unit at distinction level. In 1998, Cindu V completed her B-Tech Certificate of unit achievement (Construction Science) from St. Helens College.

I am a gold medalist from CET, Kerala, and I founded Cindu V Tech in 2006, after more than 15 years of experience in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Calicut was a very male-dominated and orthodox city at the time, and the Architect did not fit in.                                   

Beginning with just two major ventures, I quickly spread my practice across Kerala, as well as to Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. All of the projects are one-of-a-kind and completed with a high level of responsibility, transparency, and loyalty to not only the clients but also to society and the environment. All of the projects are exclusive and are regularly covered by all of the major Malayalam construction and design magazines. Cindu V Tech's designs range from small apartment interiors to homes, renovations, hospitals, hotels, conference centers, and shopping malls. Both projects, large or small, high-end or low budget, are undertaken with the same enthusiasm and zeal.

We provide architectural consulting services ranging from site analysis to conceptual design, detailed analysis, detailed drawings, as-built drawings, electrical and plumbing layout, joinery detail, tile layout, material requirements, tiling, and landscaping products. We also provide Project Management Services for large projects, including the coordination of consultants and contractors, as well as the provision of coordinated technical drawings for all specialities following MEP and landscape consultants. How Has Cindu V Tech's Growth Journey Been So Far? What Are The Different Facets Of Your Personality Or Your Leadership Style That Have Helped The Company Propel Further In Its Growth Journey?
Cindu V, the practice's founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer not long after it opened in 2006. Even though I had a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments and was sick much of the time, refused to close the office and continued to pay the staff and rent while actively juggling all the tasks. My business grew from two small projects to a practice of nearly 50 projects running concurrently, covering nearly 750 projects ranging from small apartments to major hospitals and convention centers. Every project is an adventure in and of itself.

What Is The Road Map A Head For Cindu V Tech? Is The Firm Looking To Focus On Any Specific Areas To Fuel Its Growth Trajectory In The Days To Come?
We also hope to work on more environmentally and socially conscious projects. Cindu V, the Chief Architect, has given many online talks for various leading magazines to instill in the public the moral obligation to preserve our heritage buildings. As I grow older, I realize how important it is to preserve our culture and support our artisans so that all skills are preserved. As a feminist, I am deeply concerned about the well-being of professional women. Self-improvement and development are essential for any architect who wishes to make their journey meaningful.
