What are some significant aspects of your life and career journey?

I firmly believe that my personal and professional journeys intertwine to shape who I am today. Firstly, I attribute much of my upbringing to my family's entrepreneurial background, instilling in me a strong work ethic and a passion for business from a young age. As a third-generation business owner, I've gleaned invaluable lessons on leadership, innovation, adaptability, and sustainability from my grandfathers, father, and other business associates. Secondly, my educational journey, starting from school, has been instrumental in my development. Engaging in extracurricular activities, I cultivated a mindset of embracing challenges, learning from failures, and continuously improving myself. I've always approached learning with curiosity and passion, eagerly absorbing insights from peers, teachers, and mentors, regardless of their age or background. Additionally, I've developed a keen sense of empathy and a deep understanding of human needs, which I integrate into my approach when working with clients or colleagues. Maintaining role clarity and balancing personal and professional responsibilities has been crucial in navigating various aspects of my life effectively. Lastly, I prioritize self-care and personal growth, recognizing the importance of taking time for myself to recharge and return even stronger. From childhood, I've valued education's role in shaping my professional path. Pursuing Computer Science Engineering at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science ignited my passion for business and leadership, thanks to supportive mentors and peers. Inspired by my mother, I pursued an MBA at ISB, a pivotal experience that honed my strategic thinking through real-world applications and experiential learning. ISB's rigorous environment broadened my global perspective, enhancing my decision-making skills and reinforcing key values like perseverance and excellence. This journey equipped me with the tools to thrive as an impactful business leader.

Could you share your previous industry background and expertise as a seasoned business leader?

My diverse industry background as a Computer Science Engineer provided a strong technical base and analytical problem-solving skills. Transitioning into our family's multi-industry business further broadened my expertise across the Fabrication, Construction, and entertainment sectors, fostering a deep understanding of market dynamics and strategies. Managing diverse business aspects refined my skills in operations, finance, and strategic planning. In leadership roles, I excelled in strategic planning, organization, and business development, implementing digital solutions and enhancing operational efficiency company-wide.

How does balancing family legacy with modern­ization and navigating international ventures and academic pursuits impact your journey as a third-generation business owner?

Navigating the complexities of our family business as its third-generation owner has been both unsettling and enriching, balancing the weight of preserving our legacy with the imperative of modernization and growth. Supported by my mother's wisdom and father’s business acumen, I've mentored my sibling, fostering harmony within our family dynamic while navigating the challenges of decision-making with mindfulness and accountability.
