Beauty is big business globally.

A Grand View Research shared data that the global female cosmetic market size was worth $445.2 billion in 2020. This number is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.9% between 2021 to 2028.

As the global beauty and wellness space expands, the Middle East has emerged as a key player in the market. The region has been producing of some of the most successful new-age brands while also emerging as lucrative consumer market.

According to data from Research and Markets, the beauty and personal care products market in the Middle East and Africa is estimated to be worth $32.77 billion. It is slated to reach a market valuation of $42.5 billion, growing at a CAGR of 5.34% over 2026-2031.

The numbers tell a story, we see playing out in real life. the Middle East has seen the emergence of several new-age brands lately. From once being dominated by legacy luxury labels, the market today is a mix of luxury, new-age, clean, modern brands.

At the heart of this evolution are women. Be it the enthusiastic consumers looking to try out new brands to young entrepreneurs who are committed to building successful beauty brands that champion ethical and clean beauty.
