IIT Delhi: An Oasis of World-class Engineering Education & Research creating Leaders of Tomorrow

India is home to limitless talent and enterprising minds. However, the country’s sharp minds are not just created by accident. Instead, they are nurtured and honed by high caliber institutions that were established by the Indian government after the country’s independence.
IIT Delhi is one of the 23 IITs in India. The iconic institution was established in 1961 with the aim of training, research and development in science, engineering and technology.
Over 48000 students have graduated from IIT Delhi so far in various disciplines, including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences. The institution has produced some of the most influential leaders and sharp minds who have worked for the advancement of the nation.
