Will women lead the digital revolution, or watch from the sidelines?

Access to digital technologies was once considered as a  double-edged sword for women with men having anupper edge to technologies. With men dominating  corporate hierarchy for long, the future now depends on addressing structural inequalities to ensure women are not just beneficiaries but active architects of the digital age.

Viewed as a critical lever, skill enhancement highlights our nation’s strategic focus on developing its human capital to secure a command over digital dominance. The aspect of prioritizing adaptability alongside inculcating technical skills, in the digital economy is critical, with 90% of jobs projected to require digital skills by 2030.

As Indian economy expands, it brings a new era of possibilities as diverse sectors pivot towards automation, data, and AI-led decision. This has widened the landscape for skilled professional capable of thriving in technology-driven environments. Navigating career landscapes and building pathways that align with both ambition and adaptability makes ‘mental decluttering’ inevitable.

Leveraging online courses, certification programs, and boot camps help to build a future-ready profile, crucial for personal development and professional growth. Mastering these skills ensures countless opportunities grounding women with better financial stability in tech and beyond.

AI is emerging as the most powerful lever to close the gender gap as India currently produces 43% of the world’s female STEM graduates but they hold only 29% of entry-level tech roles and 14% of C-suites seats, the report from ANSR and Talent500 said.

According to a survey, 69% of women view AI as an opening gateway to more flourishing career pathways, creating opportunities to explore domains such as product strategy, AI governance, and transformation leadership roles. Upskilling delivers wide-ranging benefits across business and society. Apart from personal development, it helps grow companies through creating more adaptiveworkforce, contributing to broader economic progress.

The economy is evolving. Your skills and resume should too!
