5. Mahila Udhyam Nidhi
Mahila Udhyam Nidhi is a financial assistance scheme for Indian women entrepreneurs seeking to establish, improve or modernize their micro and small-scale business units. It is a part of the MSME structure and is managed by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) through participating banks. Loans are provided upto₹10 lakh and are classified as ‘soft loans’. Such loans may be availed by business units undertaking manufacturing, production, services and trading activities.
The scheme is applicable for women entrepreneurs who own more than 51% in the MSMEs, small units or small scale industries. The applicants must have a minimum investment of ₹5 lakhs. The loan repayment period can extend up to 10 years and the moratorium period to five years, based upon the project and financial institution.

6. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana Supporting Women Entrepreneurs
The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) offers institutional credit to women entrepreneurs wanting to start or grow their micro and small business ventures without any need for collateral security. Women can obtain loans under Mudra scheme through banks, NBFCs, and microfinance institutions for non-agriculture business enterprises in the fields of manufacturing, trade, and service sectors. It has been designed to cover three phases of business needs through Shishu, Kishore, and Tarun loans.
For women entrepreneurs the scheme helps in overcoming lack of access to formal finance without having to offer any kind of collateral. The credit may be utilized for acquiring machines, equipment, stock or fulfilling working capital needs among others, depending on the terms and conditions set by the lending entity and nature of the activity undertaken. The program assists women micro-entrepreneurs gain entry into the formal financial system and create a credit history for future funding needs. Interest rates among other charges will depend on the lending entity and borrower.

7. Stree Shakti Yojana
Stree Shakti Yojana (SSY) is a government scheme that aims to assist women entrepreneurs in gaining access to funds for business growth increasing entrepreneurship among women. The scheme offers financial assistance to women who wish to initiate, grow, and develop their businesses so as to fulfill the capital needs of the business. Women applicants having 50% or more share in the business can apply for financial assistance under this scheme.
The scheme aids women entrepreneurs in achieving financial independence and economic empowerment through entrepreneurship development and capacity building. The eligible enterprises will be able to utilize the finance in terms of meeting their working capital needs, business expansion, and other approved business needs. This scheme will also connect women entrepreneurs with entrepreneurship development and capacity building programs in order to enhance their skills in business and financial management.
