The TATA Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 has been an exciting season so far. After weeks of thrilling matches and display of incredible talent, the league stage of the championship has been completed and we received our finalists.
The top three teams who have showcased their prowess and have topped the points table are Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Gujarat Giants (GG). Delhi Capitals qualified directly for the final with the highest NRR, while Mumbai Indians secured the final berth defeating Gujarat Giants by 47 runs during the Eliminator round.
The TATA WPL 2025 league matches have seen some remarkable performances, including Gujarat Giants' resurgence to make their first-ever Playoffs and Delhi Capitals' consistent dominance in the league. For the third consecutive time, DC has secured their final berth and for the second time, DC and MI will compete for the golden TATA WPL Trophy. This season's top-tier talent, including Mumbai Indians paving their way to the finals, set a new benchmark in the league's history and captivated audiences, inspiring future generations of cricketers.
The tournament showcased exceptional cricketing performances, with Natalie Sciver-Brunt's record-breaking 493 runs a highlight. Many more striking batting performances enthralled cricket fans across India.

Natalie Sciver-Brunt from MI

Natalie Sciver-Brunt, a standout performer in the TATA Women's Premier League 2025, has become the first player in WPL history to score over 400 runs in a single season, with an impressive 493 runs in 9 matches. Mumbai Indians opening batter scored highest unbeaten 80* and maintained an average of 69.33 smashing four half-centuries. Natalie also maintains a record of scoring 70 boundaries during her 8 matches played. The all-rounder player has also contributed with the ball, taking 8 crucial wickets, delivering impactful spells.
Ellyse Perry from RCB

Ellyse Perry excelled in the TATA Women's Premier League 2025, scoring 372 runs in eight innings. She played crucial knocks, including an unbeaten 49 in the final match against Mumbai Indians, and took key wickets. Royal Challengers Bengaluru's sole highest run getter has touched the mark of unbeaten 90* maintaining an average of 93.00 smashing 4 half-centuries. Perry has hit 40 boundaries and 11 sixes during TATA WPL 2025 league matches. She has also made an impact with the ball, taking crucial wickets of in-form batters.
Shafali Verma from DC

Shafali Verma, a key player for Delhi Capitals in the TATA WPL 2025, has been instrumental in their success. She scored an unbeaten 80 off 43 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and her fearless approach has helped them achieve victories. She has built strong partnerships with teammates like Jess Jonassen. Positioned at third on the highest run getter list, Shafali has scored 300 runs maintaining an average of 42.85 with 34 boundaries and 16 sixes to her name.
Ashleigh Gardner from GG

Ashleigh Gardner, a standout performer for the Gujarat Giants in the TATA WPL 2025, has been in exceptional form with the bat, scoring three half-centuries and a memorable 58 off 31 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Her off-spin all-rounder skills have been key to the team's success. Ashleigh is the fifth highest run scorer in the league tournament so far with 235 runs, smashing 79* not out. Ash has registered 17 boundaries and 17 sixes so far during the tournament.
Chinelle Henry from UPW

Chinelle Henry, a key player for the UP Warriorz, made a significant impact in the WPL 2025 tournament, delivering a memorable 23-ball 62 against the Delhi Capitals, setting a record for the fastest fifty in WPL history achieved in just 18 balls. The all-rounder player showcased her versatility with the ball and in the field as well taking crucial wickets. Despite UPW registering at the bottom of the points table, Chinelle has scored 163 runs, scoring 22 boundaries and 4 sixes.
