Women’s Ability to Communicate Well & Transparency Key Pillars Of Effective Leadership

  • Emotional intelligence is regarded as more important than physical intelligence. This is because it's vital to assess the situation and find the best way to respond rather than react. Women can effectively cultivate these qualities to manage any situation with grace.
  • Regarding leadership, the ability to serve more people and take care of their welfare commands respect. Women have the nurturing quality that enables them to be leaders in the truest sense and demonstrate soft power.
  • Communicating and transparency are also key pillars of effective leadership. I believe that women who are clear and transparent with their intentions can build trust, which culminates in effective leadership.

Bringing the team Together & Creating A Healthier Working Environment

As a leader, I noticed discrepancies in team spirit and transparency in the workings of the departments. The biggest challenge was bringing the team together to work together against the problem instead of playing blame games. In response to this, we arranged for team-building workshops using theatre to engage the team in building team spirit under my leadership. This practice has considerably engaged employee morale and created a healthier working environment within our HO team.

Risk Taking Key to Success

Take risks! Failure is inevitable for people in leadership, but it teaches us vital lessons and enables growth. As women, we are often raised to be perfect in every way, which can often be detrimental to taking risks. Hence, being bold and consistent in adversity is authentic leadership.
