9. Jasleen Royal
While Jasleen’s tale is one of grit and passion - starting as a self-taught "one-woman band" on India’s Got Talent and growing into an award-winning music director, she also sings in various languages, forming songs based on heartfelt simplicity and with poetic depth.
As a lyricist, Jasleen writes with raw emotions for her indie songs as well as for Bollywood hits. She broke the glass ceiling just being the first female music director to win the Filmfare Award for Shershaah, imparting great inspiration to the new generation of women in the music field across India.
