The US had the highest number of billionaires followed by China.

Indians found themselves prominently represented on the list and contributed to the third-highest number of billionaires. A total of 169 billionaires from India made it to the list showcasing a collective met-worth of $675 billion.

Several Indian women were featured on the list as well, signifying the country’s strides towards empowering its womenfolk.
