Niveda Ravikumar - Bliss Natural
Niveda Ravikumar is the founder and director of Bliss Naturals, a pioneering startup creating biodegradable sanitary pads from kenaf fiber. A first-generation entrepreneur from Coimbatore, she blends innovation, sustainability, and social impact, empowering women, reducing plastic waste, and promoting menstrual health in rural India.
A final year college project turned into a transformative social enterprise, Bliss Naturals was founded due to the alarming statistic that India generates over 1,13,000 tonnes of sanitary pad waste annually. Niveda pioneered the use of kenaf fiber, a plant-based, naturally absorbent, and antimicrobial material. This innovation led to the creation of FDA-approved, biobased-certified pads that emit 143 times less carbon and decompose naturally within months.
