Meher Sheikh - Sotbella
Meher Sheikh, a media personality and digital creator turned fashion entrepreneur, founded Sotbella in 2023, a homegrown D2C brand redefining women's fashion with inclusive, modern, western-style apparel at accessible luxury prices. She began her career as a sports anchor with a news channel before moving into fashion merchandising. She later founded a YouTube channel and hosted hit shows like Totally Unapologetic With Meher Sheikh and The Aatmanirbhar Bharat Show.
Sotbella offers dresses, co-ord sets, workwear, and casual essentials, which quickly gained recognition for blending thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and affordability. Within a year, it emerged as a leader in affordable luxury, with its viral #ExperienceSotbella campaign in 2024 boosting sales by 204% and brand visibility by 516%, driven entirely by authentic, customer-generated storytelling. In 2015, Meher expanded Sotbella's vision with the SS25 Capsule Edit, a tribute to India's textile heritage, through bold silhouettes and heritage motifs, and the "Boss Up Now" collection for business wear.
