Manasi Pradhan, Founder, OYSS Women

Manasi Pradhan, the founder of OYSS Women, has a vision to empower young girls through education and leadership. The main focus of her organization is to help girls gain access to higher education. Besides that, the girls are taught life skills, made aware of their legal rights, and are given the confidence to face the world. She tackles the educational barriers of girls through advocacy programs, workshops, and local campaigns.

She does much more than help girls academically; she helps them gain confidence, and leadership skills. She is giving girls the awareness and opportunity to get an education and thereby becoming contributing members of the community. These efforts are especially directed at the girls from disadvantaged sections of society.
