The IDFC FIRST Private Hurun India's Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2023 list showcases Indian entrepreneurship across age groups, genders, and geography. Bengaluru is the top choice for founders. 20 Indian women entrepreneurs have also secured their special positions on the prestigious list with Falguni Nayar leading the list with a 43,685 crore market capitalization. Hyderabad ranks 28th in India's list of companies founded after 2000, with Deccan Fine Chemicals leading with a valuation of 24,971 crores. The total value of these companies is 30 lakh crore, equivalent to Denmark's GDP. Eight startups are among the top 10.
India's Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2023 list features Radhakishan Damani as the top-most self-made entrepreneur, known for his company, Avenue Supermarts, also known as D-Mart.

Ghazal Alagh, Mamaearth
Ghazal Alagh, co-founder of Mamaearth, a leading Indian personal care brand, was ranked among India's top 10 youngest self-made women entrepreneurs, raising over $100 million in funding and is valued at over $1 billion.
Saumya Singh Rathore, WinZO
Saumya Singh Rathore co-founded WinZO, India's largest vernacular social gaming platform, with over 100 million registered users. With over $100 million in funding, WinZO showcases the potential of the Indian startup ecosystem.
Rajoshi Ghosh, Hasura

Vineeta Singh, CEO and co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics, a leading Indian cosmetic company that offers personal care products catering to women with diverse skin tones. Acko General Insurance Limited, as per a report by networthpost.org, has a net worth of $1.6 million, exceeding INR 500 crore.

The IDFC First Private Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2023 list is a report that ranks the top 200 self-made entrepreneurs in India who have made their fortunes through their efforts and not through inheritance or family wealth. On November 30, 2023, IDFC FIRST Private Banking and Hurun India released the report. According to the report, Bengaluru tops the list of cities with the most self-made entrepreneurs, followed by Gurugram and Mumbai. The report also notes that 156 unicorn founders out of 68 made the list. The list demonstrates both the potential of India's startup ecosystem and the nation's entrepreneurial spirit.
