World Youth Championships: Indian Compound Women Archers secure Gold medals in the U-18 and U-21

The World Youth Championships was held in Limerick, Ireland where Indian female compound archers displayed their gameplay by dominating the whole match. The women's U-18 and U-21 teams clinched gold medals, giving India its third victory in the tournament.
Aishwarya Sharma, Aditi Swami, and Ekta Rani together made up a strong team in the U-18 category. They competed against the team United States and made an incredible comeback to win by a score of 214-212. Leann Drake, Liko Arreola, and Olivia Dean put up strong gameplay against the Indian female Archers but failed to grab a victory.
The U-21 women's team was made up of Avneet Kaur, Parneet Kaur, and Pragati who continued their winning streak through their exceptional gameplay. They took a four-point lead after the first round.
Their lead has extended to 10 points by the mid-match. With a final score of 222-214, the Indian team defeated Mexico's Adriana Castillo, Jimenez Valdez, and Selene Rodriguez by a comfortable eight points margin.
Priyansh and Avneet Kaur won gold medals in the Junior mixed team compound event the day before the final match.
During the men's U-18 compound, things went difficult as they had to settle for silver. Team India’s men compromised of Manav Jadhao, Pawan Gat, and Ganesh Thirumuru competed against Mexico where the Indian team was defeated 216-215.
