The second edition of the ICC National Women's Entrepreneurship Council (INWEC) National Women’s Business Mela concluded after five impactful days, delivering a powerful call to collaborate, innovate, and scale. With participation from over 200 women entrepreneurs and the event reinforced Odisha’s commitment to inclusive, women-led economic development.

Framed around empowerment and enterprise, the event celebrated the synergy between entrepreneurship, capacity-building, and MSME growth, underscoring Odisha’s commitment to cultivating a thriving, inclusive business landscape. Representation from districts state wise reflected deep, grassroots-level impacts.

The platform served as both a knowledge exchange and innovation showcase, spotlighting key theme in entrepreneurship, from digital evolution and sustainable models to inclusive policymaking and workforce readiness. Exhibits from women-owned ventures across sectors underscored the state’s potential as a source for scalable, diverse business innovation.

Adding depth and visibility to the event, high-profile personalities like Zayed Khan engaged in meaningful conversations with prominent women change makers from Odisha, including political, medical, cultural, and business leaders. These included Sofia Firdous, Dr. Maya Gantayat, Usha Padhee IAS, Aruna Mohanty, and Ratnamala Swain.

Underscoring the strategic value of wellness in leadership, the panel on “Health as a Business Strategy” brought together renowned experts such as Dr. Vinita Mitra, Dr. Garima Sarawgi, Rashmita Mohanty, Dr. Pratichi Mishra, and Dr. Alok Shrivastava. The session, moderated by Suma Devi Dash of INWEC, emphasized the critical role of health in enabling sustained leadership performance.
