Slew Of Schemes Launched for Women In MP: Rs 1,000 Per Month, Rs 51,000 For Marriage

Numerous programs have been introduced for women in MP, including one that pays $1,000 per month starting in June and one that pays 51,000 rupees for marriage. According to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, a social revolution is occurring in the state, where women are becoming more independent and respected in both the household and society.

The CM was present at the Ladli Bahna Sammelan at the Dewas district's Sonkucch. In Madhya Pradesh, he claimed, there used to be unfairness towards girls, but things are now improving.

Ladli Bahna Yojana

The program's goal is to give financially qualified women in the state support. The participants of the plan get a set deposit of Rs. 1,000 each month, which they are free to withdraw at any time. The Ladli Bahna Scheme aims to modify society's perception of the arrival of a girl child into a household and to assure the welfare and good education of girls.

Ladli Laxmi Yojana

According to this plan, the state government would be required to buy National Savings Certificates costing 6,000 each year for five years, with periodic renewals. When a girl entered the sixth standard, she would receive $2,000, and when she entered the ninth standard, she would receive $4,000. She will earn 7,500 when she is accepted to the 11th standard. She received 200 each month for the duration of her higher secondary schooling. She would receive the remaining sum, which would be about Rs. 1 lakh, after 21 years.

The plan places a lot of attention on suppressing female infanticide and giving the families adopting it a decent foundation for their financial and educational standing. Its overarching objective is to influence conservative Indian families' attitudes about the birth and rearing of girls in a good way.

Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah/ Nikah Yojana

CM Shivraj Singh has declared that the payment under this program would now be enhanced from Rs. 49,000 to Rs. 51,000. The plan is available to the families of women who will get married.

Ladli Bahna, according to CM Shivraj Singh, is more than simply a plan; it is a revered bond between a brother and a sister. They have gained power in Madhya Pradesh thanks to policies like the 50% local body quota, the reservation of teachers and police candidates, and the exemption of stamp duty for property registration.

"We make an effort to guarantee that each lady makes at least Rs 10,000 per month in income. Putting a smile on sisters' faces is the purpose of my existence. Ladli Bahna Yojana forms from 2 lakh 80,000 women have been submitted in the Dewas district. To oversee the sister-related projects, groups are already being created in every village and ward, he added.
