Sindhu leads India's campaign in the BWF World Tour Finals

In the BWF World Tour Finals, PV Sindhu is expected to finish among the top two in the group. All eyes will also be on Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, as they make their debut at the MWF World Tour Finals.
With as many as seven of them qualifying for the $1,50,000 event, it will be the best representation for India at the year-end tournament.
The Indians compete in all other categories with Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy, set to represent the country in the women’s doubles event.
A two-time Olympic medallist, Sindhu is likely to make it to the knockout stage. As she has a good record against the other two opponents-Denmark’s Line Christophersen and Germany’s Yvonne Li, Sindhu is expected to finish among the top two in the group.
With semifinal finishes at Indonesia Masters and Hylo Open, Srikanth, only the fourth player ever to win four Super Series titles in a year. The former world No.1 will begin his campaign against Malaysia’s second Lee Zii Jia, France’s Toma Junior Popov and Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand in group B.
In the case of Debutants Satwik-Chirag, they have been clubbed in the ‘group of death’ which will make it difficult for them to qualify for the next stage.
Lakshya has been clubbed in Group A with Olympic champion Viktor Axelson, Denmark’s Rasmus Gemke and two-time world champion Kento Momota of Japan.
In women’s doubles, Sikki and Ashwini will have to compete with Japan’s second seeds Chiharu Shida and Nami Matsuyama, Bulgaria’s Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva and Lauren Smith and Chloe Birch of England for a place in the knockout stage.
