CM Lalduhoma expressed his gratitude to Niti Aayog for selecting Mizoram as the first state in the Northeast to host a WEP chapter. "VK Paul's presence at this event is a great encouragement for us, and I am confident it will lead to positive results. Women in Mizoram are hardworking and skilled, and they play a crucial role in the state's economic development," he said.
"To support young and aspiring entrepreneurs, the state government has launched the Bana Kaih scheme. Currently in its pilot phase, we have selected 517 progress partners, of which 140 (27percent) are women. We hope that more women will benefit from this scheme, and we are also collaborating closely with Niti Aayog on Bana Kaih and other initiatives," said Lalduhoma.

On the occasion, CM Lalduhoma also launched several WEP initiatives, including the Yashasvani and Swavalambini programs, among others.
