In Parliament, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia reported that 15% of all pilots in the country are women. This figure exceeds that of all other countries. Only 5% of women pilots work in foreign countries, according to Scindia. He claimed that India had surpassed the rest of the globe in terms of women's empowerment.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Civil Aviation Minister, informed the Lok Sabha that the aviation sector has changed dramatically in the previous 20-25 years. A considerable number of individuals were working in this industry. She used the example of women's empowerment, stating that just 5% of pilots in all other countries are women. In India, however, the percentage is 15%.

Previously, airports were exclusively found in major cities. Today, the picture is radically different. As a result, the civil aviation business has grown to constitute a significant part of India's economy, according to Scindia. Scindia was addressing in the House in response to a proposal from the Ministry of Civil Aviation for a grant for the years 2022-23. India has progressed in both local and international travel since the Corona Crisis. In the next three years, Scindia added, cargo flights for perishable food will be boosted by 30%, to 133 new flights. In the coming days, new technologies will make it easier to obtain pilot licences. To create more jobs and focus on the drone sector, he said the government aims to develop 33 new domestic cargo ports and 15 new flight training schools for pilots. Meanwhile, the government has approved the launch of regular international flights beginning March 27, 2022. Corona rules for flight have been loosened by the ministry.

The second session of Parliament's budget session is presently underway. This is the second season, which began on March 14 and will end on April 8, according to the budget. The convention's first part began on January 31 and finished on February 11.
