Indian Jr Women's Hockey Team Secure 3-3 Draw Against England in 4 Nations Tournament

The Indian Junior women’s hockey team managed to draw 3-3 against England at the 4 Nations Tournament. The match was being played in Dusseldorf.
From the Indian side goals were scored by Hina Bano (6′), Rutuja Dadaso Pisal (49’) and Mumtaz Khan (53’). Le Huray Martha (4′, 19’), and Alexander Beth (9′) scored for team England.
The first quarter began on a high note with both teams going in hard. England’s Le Huray Martha scored the match’s first goal in the fourth minute of the game. India soon equalized the score with Hina Bano (6’) scoring a field goal in the sixth minute. Next England’s Alexander Beth scored the second goal for her side by successfully converting a penalty corner. By the end of the first quarter, England were in a 2-1 lead.
India went on the offensive and made several attempts to equal the score. England’s Le Huray Martha struck again and by the end of halftime, England were leading by 3-1.
the third quarter saw England hold on to its lead.
India began attacks in the fourth quarter and Rutuja Dadaso Pisal got India back in the game by scoring a spectacular field goal. India’s Mumtaz Khan then successfully converted a penalty corner and the match came to a 3-3 draw.
The Indian team will play against team Spain on Tuesday.
