India is set to host the 2025 ICC Women's ODI World Cup, marking its first hosting since 2013. The event, which will take place from September 29 to October 26, 2025, will feature eight teams competing in 31 matches. Six teams have already qualified, with the remaining two spots determined through the Women's World Cup Qualifiers in April 2025.
The six qualified teams to take part in the prestigious 50-over tournament are India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. The matches will be held in five Indian cities: Mullanpur, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Raipur, and Indore. The finals are scheduled at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in Mullanpur, near Chandigarh. India's historic ODI World Cup campaign will be their first without the legendary retired cricketers Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami.

Thiruvananthapuram: Greenfield International Stadium
Raipur: Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium
Indore: Holkar Stadium
Along with the six qualified teams, two more teams will join the tournament after the Women's World Cup Qualifier to be held on April 9, 2025, in Pakistan. The teams competing for the ultimate spot are Bangladesh, West Indies, Pakistan, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand.
The tournament features a round-robin stage where teams compete against each other, with the top four teams progressing to the knockout stage for the finals.
