ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: India to Begin Campaign against NZ

The Women’s T20 World Cup has been confirmed to be held in the Bangladesh from October 3rd to October 20th by the International Cricket Council (ICC). This is the ninth edition and there will be 10 teams competition and all the matches will be played at Dhaka and Sylhet in 18 days.
India has been placed in group A for the Projected Teams includes Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and the qualified team. For this purpose, all the group stage games for the Indian national team are planned to be held in Sylhet. This team is set to make their debut against New Zealand on the 4th of October before the final shot at rivals, Pakistan on the 6th of October. The next two games of India will be played with the qualifier team on October 13 and a final match against Australia on October 16.
Group B will be held in Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies and another Qualify group will be held. Games in this group will be hosted at Dhaka all games in this group shall be played at Dhaka All games within this group will be played in Dhaka the top team in the particular grouped results will have to play in the semi finals as well as the second team from the other group. These semi-final matches will see their winners gaining a place in the finals section to again battle for a champion’s title.
It was officially declared on May 5 at Dhaka, main dignitaries present on behalf were president of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Mr. Nazmul Hassan, Chief of International Cricket Council, Mr. Geoff Allardice and captains, Harmanpreet Kaur of Indian and Nigar Sultana of Bangladesh.
There will be 23 games overall 4 in each of five rounds and both semis and finals will have open dates so that they will not be cut short. Hand selected players of the tournament are yet to emerge at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier that is being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE and the final was scheduled for May 7.

The Women’s T20 World Cup is expected to be held on October in the year 2024 in Bangladesh and everyone are looking forward to this tournament.
