Delhi Chief Minister Atishi announced that women in Delhi will soon receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 1,000. This initiative is part of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal's promise to support mothers and sisters in the city. The honorarium will be provided on the first day of each month, starting soon. Delhi CM emphasized that this initiative is aimed at empowering women and ensuring their well-being. She also urged voters to support AAP and former CM Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming February elections to continue receiving benefits like free electricity, water, and bus travel for women.
CM Atishi took part in a 'padayatra (foot march)' campaign held by AAP at Hari Nagar where she announced this decision. She mentioned the beneficial actions taken by Arvind Kejriwal for the people of Delhi providing electricity, water, good schools, bus travel, treatment, and pilgrimages. She mentioned "We will now provide Rs 1,000 per month to every mother and sister in Delhi on the first day of each month. Therefore, in the upcoming February election, Delhiites should elect Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister for the fourth time with a massive majority."
Delhi CM Atishi accused the BJP of failing to provide good schools, hospitals, or free electricity, leading to the imprisonment of Arvind Kejriwal. She argued that if Kejriwal is ousted, the city's free electricity, water supply, bus travel, and pilgrimage schemes could be discontinued. Atishi argued that if the BJP wins Delhi, these schemes could be halted.
