Bangladesh Women's Team Defeats India in Third T20I by Four Wickets

Today was the third and final T20I of the series in Dhaka where for the first time Bangladesh Women's team chased the margin and defeated the Indian Women's team by four wickets. They have successfully chased down 103 runs set by India. After failing to score 96 runs in the previous match, the host team is happy to beat the final day.
However, Indian Women won the series by 2-1 after defeating the opponents during the first two T20I matches.
During the third match, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was dismissed early after scoring just one run. With only 11 runs, Shafali Verma also failed to make much of an impact on the scoreboard. However, a partnership of Jemimah Rodrigues and Captain Harmanpreet Kaur made a 45-run third wicket stand.
After skipper, Harmanpreet was run out in the 17th over, India could only reach up to 102 runs in their 20 overs match. Only 12 runs were scored by the visitors in the final four overs for a total of six wickets lost.
Whereas, Bangladesh batters made sure to rotate the strike after losing the previous two matches.
Shamima Sultana, senior batter of the Bangladesh team played in the middle while the other batters played around her. She managed to score 42 runs for the team. Bangladesh lost two wickets during the 17th over to fall six runs short of their target. During the last two overs Ritu Moni and Nahida Akter and eventually they won the last match of the series.
