4 Indian Female Wrestlers to Compete at Under-17 World Championships

Four Indian women wrestlers Aditi Kumari, Neha, Mansi Lather, and Pulkit are in title contention at the Under-17 World Championships, showcasing their skills and determination on the international stage.
Aditi Kumari, known for her agility and technique, set up the 43 kg semifinal against Aleksandra Berezovskaia with an 8-2 win. She carried forward her terrific performance securing her spot against Maria Louiza Gkika in the final. She has won several national titles and performed well in regional competitions.
Neha, a formidable athlete, reached the 57kg semifinals without losing a point, overcoming Greek rival Mairi Mani and Georgia's Miranda Kapanadze. She defeated Kazakhstan's Anna Stratan 8-4, moving to the final against Japan's So Tsuitsui. Her dedication and rigorous training regimen showcased her strength and strategic abilities.
Pulkit, a seasoned competitor, has solidified her position as a title contender in the championships after a successful 65 kg fight against China's Ling Cai and a 9-0 win against Juliana Catanzaro. She secured her gold-medal bout by defeating Egypt's Maram Ibrahim Aly 3-0. She will compete against Daria Frolova in the finals.
Mansi Lather secured a spot in the 73 kg final, defeating Lotta Englich, Piper Meredith Fowler, and Khrystyna Demchuk, due to her resilience, tactical acumen, and precision under pressure.
The Under-17 World Championships, organized by the United World Wrestling (UWW), is a prestigious event that showcases the talents of young wrestlers worldwide, offering a platform for international competition and skill development.
