YSRKapuNestam Amount to Be Disbursed to Poor Women in Andhra Pradesh Today

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy headed Andhra Pradesh government will deposit the YSR KapuNestam cash in the beneficiary's account today. Under the aegis of the program 3,38,792 eligible poor women belonging to Kapu, Balija, Telaga and Single castes across the state will receive Rs. 508.18 crore in financial assistance.

The program will be held in Gollaprolu, Kakinada district, where the Chief Minister will directly deposit the amount in the beneficiaries’ accounts by pressing the computer button.

As mentioned in the YCP election manifesto, the government has announced that the YSR KapuNestam amount will be deposited for the third year in a row. The scheme’s aim is to better the living standards of the poor women of the Kapu, Balija, Telaga and single castes.

Through YSR KapuNestam, every poor women belonging to Kapu, Balija, Telaga, and Ontari castes between the ages of 45 to 60 years will receive Rs. 15,000 per year for a span of five years. As part of it, Rs. 508.18 crores will be disbursed as part of the scheme.

The government has also taken requisite steps to make sure that the scheme is applicable to everyone without any discrimination or difficulties.

Chief Minister YS Jagan has addressed this issue several times. He has said that caste, religion, politics and parties should not be considered in government schemes.
