On Thursday, the Indian Women's Hockey Team lost their match against Australia A by 2-3. The players have their best where Salima Tete and Sangita Kumari got a net and Alice Arnott and Ruby Harris gave a strike for the hosts.

The Indian players dominantly led the game in the first half, in the first quarter they even earned a penalty strike in the 10th minute. But the tables turned after the first half as the opponents led the game winning a couple of penalty corners, Indian defense stood firm by saving the net.

In the second quarter, India concentrated on keeping their ball, but Australia A seized the lead when Arnott (18') made a field goal. After that, Harris (20'), who was quite undefeated at the far post, increased the advantage for the home team by keeping the ball into India's net easily.

India started tough gameplay and even made some solid attacks, but they were unsuccessful in scoring as Australia A led 2-0 at the interval.

In the third quarter, Australia A took advantage when Harris (35') took another goal to make it 3-0 for the host. After her strike, Salima Tete got the first goal for India from just inside the D.
