India formed the Global Alliance for Global Good - Gender Equity and Equality, aiming to advance gender equality and women's empowerment through global best practices, knowledge exchange, and investment opportunities earlier this year at the World Economic Forum's 54th Annual meeting in Davos. In order to carry forward this initiative, the logo and website of the respective programme were launched in Delhi on 28 February 2024.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, co-chaired by Bill Gates has been a partner of this alliance for the past several years and stated that they are proud to be collaborating with this diligent effort of India in promoting women's empowerment, inclusivity, and diversity in society.

This significant partnership is coordinated by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), with Invest India serving as an institutional partner and the World Economic Forum as a network partner. The goals planned to achieve Sustainable Development for gender equity and equality, international partnerships, and advanced healthcare will be supported through this alliance.
